Subdomain Creation Policy

At SRIJANYASPHERE you can create custom subdomains for your projects. To keep the platform safe, professional and secure, certain words are restricted from use in subdomain names.

Our policy prohibits roughly 1,500 words across several categories — administrative, support-related, inappropriate, and misleading or security-sensitive terms.

2Restricted Word Categories

• Administrative terms — words like “admin”, “administrator”, “system”, “root”.
• Support-related terms — words that could mislead about support, like “help”, “support”, “service”, “official”.
• Inappropriate language — profanity, slurs and other offensive terms.
• Legal & security terms — words usable for phishing or impersonation, like “legal”, “security”, “verify”.

• Security — prevent phishing and impersonation of official or administrative services.

4Naming Rules

When creating a subdomain, keep these rules in mind:

• Must be between 3 and 63 characters.
• Only lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens are allowed.
• Cannot start or end with a hyphen.
• Restricted words cannot be used.
